Shadows -X-He drowns himself in tears,
Crouching over his darkened corner,
Loneliness is an adversary he never dared to conquer,
It slowly slays his soul,
Choking him with its fists,
Breaking his spirit,
Poisoning him from within,
The skies used to whisper the angel's name,
The clouds used to part for him,
But it's all gone now,
Nothing is left here but the scarred angel who lost his wings ages ago,
I in this storm of shadows,
Shadows, which fly across the room,
Haunting dreams which never came true,
Shadows that stroke his hair,
They pull on it, and his head tilts back,
She slashes his jugular,
The bottle cracks upon contact,
His eyes
--hellengulfed in a sadness she can obviously not feel,
overcomed by a madness she will never touch,
alone I sit in the corner of my dungeon,
trapped by a thousand miles,
tortured,
surrounded by a million smiles,
still I'm not happy,
still I cannot feel,
the love I felt for her when I went away,
pain is my heart's torturer,
anguish fills my every artery,
feel.
nothing.
silence overcomes me,
the music plays on the background,
reminding me of endless nights,
reminding me how I felt by her side,
how our bodies touched,
how my soul died.
alone, yet surrounded.
tonight -as I stare at her beautiful eyes
whispering to my soul
tattered and just about to die
the pain.

hold her hands against mine.
keep them for myself,
close my eyes and hope,
dream and but tonight, I don't die.

fantasy.
ecstasy within the innocence of a touch.

I feel the blood running through my veins,
cleansing all the dead and discarded pain,
but deep inside, I know it will all end.
It has to.

happiness is but a curseful idea,
I hold it dead within my captive soul,
a soul that now tightens it's own reigns,
feeding off the pain which once concealed her true image.
as I touch her sweet face the chains seem to become lighter.

so I hadn't posted anything in a couple of days so here you go.
I have my laptop running again so I did this and left it rendering while I ran some errands. About 3 hours projected rendering when it started, must have finished in about too. Quite complex. I'll be rendering it for print later.
